Fir Lines – Modern Warmth in Natural Wood
Custom fir accent beams, custom metal railing and wires, and horizontal under skirting installed to enhance this Nanaimo's home’s exterior with warmth, contrast, and modern craftsmanship.

Cedar beams and under skirting that add warmth, depth, and balance to the home’s clean modern lines.
The Fir Lines project highlights the finishing touches that define a home’s character. David Ellis Construction was brought in to complete the wood detailing — installing custom fir accent beams and matching horizontal under skirting that beautifully frame the exterior.
These elements introduce natural warmth and texture against the modern stucco finish, creating a balanced look that feels both contemporary and inviting. While the main structure was built by another contractor, Dave’s craftsmanship and precision ensured a flawless finish that elevated the overall design. The result is a seamless blend of natural wood tones and architectural form — simple, clean, and distinctly coastal.
