Designed with solid fir beams, a metal roof and pressure treated wood decking, this outdoor retreat combines comfort, craftsmanship, and timeless character. Perfect for entertaining or relaxing, if reflects our passion for creating functional spaces that feel like home.

Rustic Retreat brings the comfort of indoor living outdoors — a handcrafted space built for relaxation, gatherings, and timeless appeal.

This project features a pressure-treated deck covered with solid fir beams and finished with a black metal roof, combining durability with natural warmth. The design balances strong structure with rustic charm, creating a covered area that feels both open and protected. Every beam and board was measured, cut, and assembled by hand, ensuring precise alignment and a flawless finish that showcases the wood’s natural grain.

The Fir posts and beams add strength and visual texture, while the matte black metal roof provides year-round shelter and a striking contrast against the rich tones of the timber. Built to stand up to the coastal weather of Vancouver Island, this space was designed with both beauty and longevity in mind.
